Binding Fee Regulations at Fundacja Emic under the project entitled Start Where You Are. Local Integration Points in the Pomeranian and Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeships.

§1 

GENERAL PROVISIONS 

  1. These Regulations set out the rules for the payment of fees by participants of the project “Start Where You Are. Local Integration Points in the Pomeranian and Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeships”, implemented by Fundacja Emic from 1 October 2025 to 31 March 2028. 

  2. Project participants may be third-country nationals (TCNs) in accordance with the principles set out in the “Beneficiary’s Handbook for Projects Financed under the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund 2021–2027” under the specific objective Legal Migration and Integration. 

  3. Fees are mandatory for all project participants, except for persons with disabilities, persons over 75 years of age, and individuals in particularly difficult life or financial situations - based on an individual decision of Fundacja Emic. 

  4. The amount of fees and the payment schedule are determined by the Management Board of Fundacja Emic and are available to project participants in paper form or electronically via the official website of Fundacja Emic. 

  5. These Regulations include a list of all fees related to participation in the project “Start Where You Are. Local Integration Points in the Pomeranian and Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeships,” i.e. the registration fee for participation in the project, and the registration fee for participation in a Polish language course. 

  6. Fees may be paid by payment card, cash at mobile information and advisory points of Fundacja Emic, or by bank transfer or BLIK. 

  7. The date of payment is understood as follows: for bank transfers or BLIK payments – the date on which funds are credited to the bank account of Fundacja Emic, for card or cash payments at information and advisory points – the date the payment is made. 

§2 

TYPE AND AMOUNT OF FEES FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE PROJECT 

  1. The project registration fee entitles participants to access a wide range of support and integration services offered under the project “Start Where You Are. Local Integration Points in the Pomeranian and Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeships.” 
    The fee amounts to 100 PLN and is valid for 12 months from the date of payment, but no longer than until the end of the project implementation period, i.e. 31 March 2028. 

  2. The registration fee for participation in a Polish language course is 300 PLN. This fee entitles participants to attend a Polish language course consisting of 60 teaching hours.

If payment is made on behalf of another person, the payment reference must also include the participant’s first and last name. 

§3 

SUPPORT OFFERED UNDER THE PROJECT 

  1. Payment of the registration fee entitles participants to benefit from the forms of support available under the project, in accordance with the schedule and organization of specific activities, including: 
  • consultations with advisors on formal-legal and educational matters (online and during duty hours at mobile points), including assistance with completing applications; 
  • legal counselling; 
  • career counselling, job matching services, and business advisory support during the implementation of relevant project activities; 
  • psychological support for adults, children, and youth (subject to a limit on the number of consultations due to budget constraints); 
  • participation in civic courses, group classes, development workshops, non-vocational training, and other expert-led meetings (advance registration required); 
  • participation in Polish language courses (upon payment of the additional course fee of PLN 300 per 60-hour course); 
  • support provided by project staff and volunteers in interactions with public offices, institutions, and in everyday matters; 
  • support in communication with schools, kindergartens, and healthcare services; 
  • interpreter support – oral and written translation of documents (subject to a page limit due to budget constraints); 
  • support for teachers and participation in remedial classes for children; 
  • access to information via a Facebook group, the project website, newsletter, and information brochure; 
  • other additional activities implemented within the project. 

2. Payment of the Polish language course fee entitles participants to attend a course of 60 teaching hours. Additional information, such as the course program and schedule, will be provided during the recruitment process.

3. Fundacja Emic allows each participant to benefit from one consultation with a formal-legal or educational advisor without the need to pay the registration fee. 

§4 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 

  1. The Emic Foundation does not charge any additional fees for participation in the project “Start Where You Are. Local Integration Points in the Pomeranian and Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeships” beyond those listed in these Regulations. 
    A separate fee regulation applies to the part of the project implemented by the To i Co Foundation (project partner). 

  2. In exceptionally justified cases, including difficult life or financial circumstances, a project participant may apply for an exemption from the registration fee or a deferral of payment for up to two months, subject to the approval of the Management Board of Fundacja Emic. 

  3. Payment of fees is monitored by project staff, particularly consultants and specialists responsible for advisory services and course organization. 

  4. In case of withdrawal from the project, the registration fee is non-refundable. 
    In the event of withdrawal from the Polish language course after payment or during the semester, the course fee is non-refundable. 

  5. In case of children benefit from the project’s support offer the registration fee is paid by one of the parents or legal guardians. 

  6. Volunteers of the Emic Foundation are exempt from all fees. 

  7. These Fee Regulations come into force on 15 October 2025. 

  8. The Foundation reserves the right to amend the Regulations, specifying a new binding date.
